🔴 LIVE from the halfway point of the Sydney Marathon 2026, Watch the world’s best wheelchair athletes and marathon runners. The field this year includes reigning world champions Alphonce Simbu and Peres Jepchirchir, alongside leading names including Sisay Lemma, Timothy Kiplagat, Irine Cheptai and Vivian Cheruiyot. The elite wheelchair athletes start at 6:15am, with the marathon starting at 6:30am. We will start the live stream at about 6:50am, ready for the first athletes to pass halfway. Expected times will be shown on the screen but these are only approximate! This isn’t going to be a full commentary with end to end coverage of the elite races. Great for family and friends to watch out for your progress. There will be no commentary or voiceover.
