Hi, I'm Phoebe, I'm 23 years old from the uk and am currently inpatient for my mental health, I am autistic and suffer from EUPD (BPD) and anorexia nervosa and am currently in hospital receiving therapy for these under section 3 of the mental health act. In January I will be a psychology undergrad at Uni of Manchester.
Before this, I was studying psychology at the University of Manchester (and yes I have lived in Fallowfield) and I have made YouTube videos about sixth form, A-levels, A-level coursework, applying to university, starting and actually doing university including the dreaded dissertation!!! and hopefully I will be graduating this summer.
On my channel I intend to create content relating to my degree, mental health issues, and trying to create a life worth living (DBT folks iykyk) and share my recovery journey.
My channel will cover uni days in the life, weeks in the life, general university chit chat such as how to take notes, and how I deal with lectures, seminars and tutorials as someone who is neurodivergent . I aim to help people applying to uni get the right support, Whether you are in first year of uni navigating freshers or are in 2nd or 3rd year I hope I can offer you some company and reassurance that degrees are bloody hard and that anyone, even someone with mental health issues, with the right support can get better.
I will in time share my experiences of being sectioned and inpatient on a rehab and vlog my life, whether that's bringing awareness of autism in females or mental illnesses such as the much stigmatised Emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD) aka Borderline personality disorder (BPD)
