𝗟.𝗔.'𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟰𝟬: 𝗡𝗼𝘃. 𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟭

The Top 40 songs from LA radio station KFWB’s “Fabulous Forty” and KRLA's "Tunedex" surveys for weeks ending Nov. 10, 17, 24 and Dec. 1 in 1961. (The KHJ Boss 30 survey was still 3+ years in the making.) Unlike for my books, Ranking the ‘60s and Ranking the ‘70s (with Bill Carroll), I used a simple reverse ranking system, assigning 1 point for No. 40, 2 points for No. 39, etc. I kept it simple since we’re dealing with four weeks rather than a longer duration, like a year. *Decade Rank is from my book, Ranking the '60s: A Comprehensive Listing of the Top Songs and Acts from Pop's Golden Decade. More about me and RT60s here: https://ranking.rocks/the-60s.
