Dahha is our tribute to one of the Arabian Peninsula's oldest Bedouin traditions. Rooted in the deserts of northern Saudi Arabia and neighboring Bedouin communities, Al-Dahha (Al-Dahiyya) is a powerful tribal chant once performed to inspire warriors before battle and later to celebrate victory, unity, and tribal pride. Today, it lives on as a vibrant cultural performance at national celebrations and gatherings, where poets lead lines of voices that answer in unison, ending with the iconic roaring chant that echoes across the desert. During our journey through Bangladesh, we wanted to share a piece of this living heritage. Filmed at the historic Boro Sardar Bari Museum, this live performance brings together the raw energy of the Saudi tribal chant with Hijaz Convoy's signature blend of traditional Middle Eastern instruments and contemporary electronic music—connecting two cultures through a single musical story.
