WBJEE 2026 DECENTRALISED COUNSELLING: Board Should Do This to Increase B.Tech Admission Chance

WBJEE 2026 DECENTRALISED COUNSELLING is now at a very important stage after Phase 2 Round 1 allotment. In this video, I discuss a few important issues students are currently facing and make a humble request to the WBJEE Board. If WBJEEB decides to fill all remaining vacant seats through Offline Decentralised Counselling after Phase 2, that may be one possible way to complete the admission process. However, if the Board decides to conduct a Phase 3, I believe some rules should be reconsidered so that students who are still without a B.Tech seat get a fair opportunity. In this video, I explain the problems related to existing seat holders participating again, multiple seat allotments, vacant seats and choice filling. I also discuss how a possible Phase 3 could use a fresh and properly ranked choice list, including newly available seats, while ensuring that vacant seats reach eligible students. This is simply my humble request and suggestion to the WBJEE Board, keeping students and a fair counselling process in mind.
