LIVING IN ABEOKUTA: Weekly Vlog+ Bokku Mart reached out! + Hangout in Abk+ Trip to Ibadan+ The Place

Welcome to another weekly vlog! 🤎✨ Another week of living, working and finding little moments to enjoy life in Abeokuta. This week came with the usual farm runs, food adventures, errands, unexpected travel plans and probably one of the happiest surprises I've had in a while! I started the week with my usual farm activities, a trip to the sawmill to get more planks and a little night tour of what Abeokuta looks like after dark. 🌃 I also took you guys along for some random yapping, life updates and everyday errands. There were supermarket runs, my first time trying an antiperspirant, a visit to Place Restaurant for my favourite Fiesta Fried Rice and Asun Rice combo, some shawarma for dinner and a new restaurant discovery around the CAMP area. But the biggest highlight of this week? Bokku Mart reached out to me for a collaboration! 🥹❤️ They invited me to collaborate on their newly launched gift card, and honestly, I was so happy and emotional. It's one of those moments that reminds you to appreciate how far you've come and keep showing up. Friday came with the usual Jumu'ah routine, content creation and, of course, some good Nigerian food. And as a Yoruba girl, I have something to say about people calling Amala overrated. 😂 The weekend came with a little travel confusion (I mixed up my travel dates! 😭), a trip to Ibadan for a surprise Oríkì job, and eventually, a lovely outing at Hanging Out with IJ, an event I was attending for the second time in Abeokuta. It was a week of ordinary days, unexpected good news, food, work, culture and little reminders that life can surprise you in the sweetest ways.
