Class 185131 soon arrives into the station before I board for the journey towards Liverpool. After departing Newton-Le-Willows, the train continues west towards Lea Green. We arrive at Lea Green before making the intermediate stop and then departing again for the final section of the journey towards Liverpool. From Lea Green, Class 185131 continues towards Liverpool Lime Street. The final part of the journey takes us towards Liverpool city centre before we make our approach into Liverpool Lime Street and arrive at the terminus. The service started its journey at Manchester Victoria at 0553 and departed three minutes late at 0556. By Newton-Le-Willows, some of that delay had been recovered, with the train departing at 0612, two minutes behind schedule. It then departed Lea Green at 0618, just one minute late, before eventually arriving into Liverpool Lime Street at 0635, four minutes behind the scheduled arrival time of 0631.
