The Setagaya Family Murders: Japan's Most Haunting Cold Case

On the night of December 30th, 2000, four members of the Miyazawa family were murdered inside their home in Setagaya, Tokyo. The killer didn't flee. He stayed — for hours. He ate from their refrigerator, used their computer, treated his wounded hand with their bandages, and left his clothes folded behind him. Twenty-five years later, with DNA, bare fingerprints, a hip bag full of clues, and a ¥20 million reward, no one has ever been arrested. This is Japan's biggest unsolved case.
