🌧️ Pune to Thane by Car | A Monsoon Drive Full of Unexpected Moments! Last time, we travelled from Pune to Thane on a bike. This time, we decided to experience the same journey by car, and the Maharashtra monsoon had a completely different story to tell. 🚗🌧️ We started our journey from Pune, and almost immediately, the monsoon scenery began to unfold. From cows grazing along the road and a little calf stealing our attention, to finally hitting the highway with wet roads, lush green trees and beautiful mountain views, every stretch had something different to offer. As we moved further along, the landscape became even more mesmerising. The fog slowly covered the mountains, the roads glistened after the rain, and the views became almost impossible to describe. Sometimes, you don't need a destination to enjoy a journey. The road itself becomes the experience. And yes, we are hoping this Monsoon Dhamaka gets even more love than our previous Dadar-to-Pune video, which crossed 900+ views! ❤️ If you enjoyed that journey, we hope this one takes us even further. 🍴 A Stop at the Food Mall Eventually, we decided to take a break at a food mall. And once again, we were reminded that big things can come from very small beginnings. One of the people who caught our attention was Gurudatta, whose journey from Kothambir Wadi to having a much larger food establishment is a lovely example of how a small beginning can grow into something much bigger. Renish went for a classic Wada Pav, while I couldn't help noticing how popular the stall had become, with people patiently queuing for their turn. I opted for an Irani Cafe Masala Cheese Omelette in a bun. Honestly, the omelette itself was enjoyable, but I probably could have done without the bun! 😄 I also want to share one personal observation about the café experience. I felt that the seating experience was quite rushed, with staff repeatedly indicating that customers should move on rather than stay longer. This is only my personal experience and opinion, and your experience may be completely different. 🛍️ A Little Shopping Along the Way After eating, we explored the food mall a little more. From an upper level, I came across UCB, and I absolutely loved the collection. ❤️ Then came MINISO, which had so many cute and interesting things that I could easily have gone overboard with the shopping! But because we were also mindful of our baggage weight for an upcoming flight, I had to exercise some serious self-control. 😂 Sometimes travelling means looking at things you love and telling yourself: “Not this time!” 🌱 And Then the Journey Became a Reminder The journey continued, with a few more showers along the way. But somewhere between the rain, mountains, greenery and mist, I found myself thinking about something much bigger. Look at what nature gives us. The mountains. The trees. The rain. The fog. The rivers and valleys. The incredible landscapes that we often pass without stopping to appreciate them. It made me think about how beautifully God has created our world. And if nature gives us so much, perhaps we also need to ask ourselves what we can give back. We may not be able to change everything as individuals, but every small step counts. Saving water. Reducing waste. Protecting greenery. Avoiding unnecessary pollution. Being more conscious about the choices we make. Every little action can contribute towards protecting the planet and creating a healthier environment for the generations that come after us. So, this wasn't just a Pune to Thane monsoon drive. It became a journey through rain, food, shopping, memories, people, nature and a little reflection along the way.
