Specimen Card Tutorial for Junk Journals | Easy Nature-Inspired Ephemera

I sat down to make “just a couple” specimen cards… and somehow ended up surrounded by birds, butterflies, botanicals, film strips, scraps of paper, and tiny labels all over my desk. 😂 In this video, I’m sharing several different ways to create specimen-style cards and slides for junk journals using supplies you probably already have on hand. We’ll make everything from simple folded cardstock versions to layered pieces with vellum, acetate, pockets, and interactive details.
