What Does the Bible Say About Failure?
Failure can make you question your decisions, your abilities, and even your future. But does one mistake, one setback, or one disappointing chapter define your entire life?
The Bible contains stories of people who experienced failure, made serious mistakes, faced consequences, and still continued their journey.
Peter confidently promised that he would remain loyal to Jesus, yet later denied knowing Him three times. David, despite being a great biblical king, made serious moral mistakes and had to face the consequences of his actions. Joseph experienced betrayal, separation from his family, and imprisonment before his circumstances eventually changed.
These stories don't teach that every failure will automatically lead to success. Instead, they show the importance of honesty, responsibility, repentance, wisdom, perseverance, and continuing forward.
In this video, we explore what the Bible says about failure and what we can learn when things don't go according to plan.

A message to remember
You may have failed at something.
You may have made a decision you regret.
You may be disappointed because your plans didn't work out.
But a failure is something you experienced — it doesn't have to become your identity.
Learn from what happened. Take responsibility where necessary. Seek wisdom. Make the next right decision.
And keep moving forward.
Sometimes, the most important part of moving forward is deciding to rise again.
