South West Coast Path: St Ives to Zennor

Walking the South West Coast Path: St Ives to Zennor with Roxie, my Cocker Spaniel! We tackle one of the toughest stages of the SWCP, leaving the surfing hub of St Ives for a relentless, bouldery scramble along the severe coastal cliffs to the historic village of Zennor. There are many excellent, polished videos of the SWCP, but I wanted to show you something a bit different. This is the full, unvarnished experience, featuring the steep climbs and scrambles that often get left out. Because I’m filming as we go, the footage is raw and naturally shaky—I've kept it that way to capture the physical reality of the trek. Expect less commentary and a more "wild, bumpy ride"! . 🌍 Follow our full story & see the maps: https://roxieand.me.uk About This Journey: This 6.5-mile westbound hike transitions from easy urban asphalt to technical, exposed cliff-edge single tracks. It is considered one of the most physically demanding sections on the entire path, not because of steep elevations, but due to the exceptionally rough, boggy, and bouldery terrain underfoot. Watch as Roxie and I carefully navigate stepping stones near the historic Clodgy Point leper colony, tackle slippery killas and awkward granite scrambles around Wicca Pool, and take in the sweeping views from the towering 314-foot cliffs of Zennor Head.
