The Slave Queen’s Heart | An Elder Scrolls Song About Alessia

“We will rise! We will remain! No more children born in chains!” Before the Empire, before the Ruby Throne, there was a woman who dared to believe that her people could be free. Alessia. The Slave Queen. The mother of an empire. In the First Era, the Nedic slaves of Cyrodiil suffered beneath the rule of the Ayleids. But from their suffering rose a rebellion, led by a woman whose courage would change the fate of Tamriel forever. This is her story. The Slave Queen’s Heart is the fourth song in Broken Chains, a musical retelling of the tragedy of Pelinal Whitestrake, Huna, Alessia, and Morihaus. Alessia must inspire her people to keep fighting, even as the cost of freedom grows heavier with every passing battle. She remembers the man who fought beside her, the Star-Made Knight whose wrath threatens to consume what remains of him. She cannot save everyone. She cannot undo what has been lost. But she can fight for a tomorrow where no child will ever have to wear a slave's collar. And when the crowds fall silent and the queen no longer needs to be strong for everyone else, there is someone who understands the weight she carries. Because even a queen needs someone who will stay. This is not simply a song about the birth of an empire. It is a song about the people who paid for its dawn, the grief hidden behind a crown, and the hope that makes the suffering worth enduring. The chains may be broken. The scars remain. But tomorrow, they will be free. 👑 ABOUT BROKEN CHAINS Broken Chains explores the lives, loves, tragedies, and choices behind one of the most legendary periods in Elder Scrolls history.
