​Monday morning at 07:48! Mark is officially making his way through those Gryphon school gates. You know the old saying: you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink! We can get him to the school, but we can't exactly control what happens when he gets inside... or can we? 🤫🤔 (Maybe I need to wire him up with one of my A1TechRescue hidden cameras after last week's broken mouse drama! See what goes on behind those gates!) ​Now, a bit of a plot twist this morning! Joshua is actually NOT in college today, so we are completely scrapping the Kingston Estate run. Instead, it is a direct, highly scenic mission to get Leona dropped off at SWRAC! ​We pushed out of Sherborne and chewed up the tarmac down through Longburton. Reaching Tiley Knapp, we completely ignored our usual right turn towards Lyons Gate and kept the foot down, powering straight up the hill towards Giants Head Farmhouse! ​Taking the very next right turn, we plunged down into historic Cerne Abbas. Hitting the crossroads, we drove up Sydling Road until we met our old friend, the ford! 💦 But instead of our usual splash straight through, we tracked left, weaving our way beautifully along the valley towards Sydling St Nicholas. ​Gliding through those tight back lanes, we popped out perfectly at Grimstone, passing neatly under the railway bridge. A sharp left onto the A37 took us out to Stratton, before we hooked a right to push up through Bradford Peverell. ​For the final stretch, we ended up tucked in right behind a massive red school bus! 🚌 Thankfully, the bus soon turned off, leaving Dad's Taxi a completely clear run to continue on into SWRAC. We navigated the usual building-site chaos, and Leona is successfully dropped off to start her week! 🚕🏁 We got stuck behind the dreaded school bus this morning! 🚌 What is the absolute worst vehicle to get stuck behind when you are in a rush on the country lanes—a tractor, a bus, or a cyclist?
