Is DOOM Eternal the Hardest DOOM Game?

I played The Dark Ages on Ultra Violence and didn't find it to be all that hard. The hardest part for me with playing its campaign on Ultra Nightmare was staying locked in and focused the whole time. Dark Ages' Revelations DLC was extremely tough on Nightmare. DOOM Eternal's campaign on Nightmare, however, has been a different beast. Without a shield to hide behind, I have been getting my whole ass handed to me.
