Smit Old Age Home and Care Foundation Our SMIT Family is filled with ‘Young At Heart’ seniors from several backgrounds such as Police Stations, Railway Stations, Mental Hospital and other associations working for homeless senior citizens and the mentally or morally collapsed even for missing cases. We are extensively working to provide them with shelter and other necessities like healthy and nutritious food, clean and hygienic cloths, basic medical support and an environment where they can cherish life. Today, the responsible and strong shoulders of Mrs. Yojana Gharat our founder and president and her daughters helping it make sustainable, positive changes. Like-minded individuals with a genuine desire to help elevate and improve the current situation stepped forward. With diligence and determination, our collective impact did not only bring order but also a new sense of direction towards all the fringed sections of India’s society. We’ve hustled through so many places like Boisar, Wada, and Panvel. However, we hope to see a brighter future for SMIT. A place of its own to absolutely ensure our residents always have a roof on their heads, food on their plates, and loads of love. If you have inherent goodness and the desire to bring joy in the lives of the less fortunate ones, we will always have a place for you.
