Welcome back to My Journey in Ghana! In this video, I’m sharing an update on the tiling stage of the house. Building a home, especially from abroad, requires patience, planning, regular supervision, and attention to detail. Tiling is an important part of the finishing process, and getting it right makes a difference in the final appearance of your home. From the floors to the walls, this stage is a reminder that every detail matters when building your dream home. If you’re planning to build in Ghana while living abroad, I hope my journey gives you some insight into the process, the decisions involved, and the importance of following up on the work being done. Remember: Supervise the supervisor! If you cannot be physically present, try to have a trusted, independent person check the work and raise concerns before making final payments. This is more than building a house. It’s part of my journey toward creating a home in Ghana and preparing for my retirement and future. 🏡 Subscribe to My Journey in Ghana for more updates on house construction, finishing work, lessons learned, and my journey of building and planning for my retirement future in Ghana.
