The Steel Mace and Steel Mace training allows us to create in ways that might not normally be available in strength training. With the Steel Mace, the process is the prize and movement is the goal. We move to move; and, we aim to move well while doing it. Intention and purpose are one from the time leading up to the session until the Mace is in our hands. The long journey into moments of eloquently pronounced and enunciated moments of strength is often abandoned before the magic happens. The duel of the dual - human vs themselves - has taken more casualties than any war with our external other. The Steel Mace allows us to explore the shadowy edges of what is known; and, before the fray and tattered edges we see the dance of dances of the abyss' edge. The fear of expression does not reach this sacred space.
