Nehemiah 7: What Counts and Matters to God? | Pastor Paula White-Cain | City of Destiny

In this sermon from October 18, 2020, Pastor Paula White Cain explains the importance of remembering one's identity and the responsibility that comes with it. She uses the example of Nehemiah chapter seven, which documents who was a true Jew, to illustrate how God's people are expected to fulfill their responsibility in light of their destiny. She emphasizes the importance of worship in the life of a believer and encourages them to make their praise manifest. She also encourages worshippers to pursue God with all they have and to remember the price Jesus paid for them. Ultimately, she reminds her listeners that their lives can only count for God if they commit themselves to the things that matter to God. Key Points: ✅ Identity & Responsibility – Nehemiah 7 reminds us that God calls His people by name, giving them both identity and purpose. ✅ Faithfulness Matters – God honors those who walk in obedience, start small, and remain committed. ✅ The Power of Worship – True believers make their praise manifest and pursue God wholeheartedly. ✅ Spiritual Watchfulness – Guarding our hearts, homes, and families is essential in resisting the enemy. ✅ Revival is Coming – God is raising a faithful remnant to carry His glory in this generation.
