Lord

Lord | Jesus Christ Is Lord | Scripture-Inspired Christian Worship Music Jesus Christ is not only our Savior. He is Lord. To call Jesus “Lord” is more than speaking a title. It is acknowledging who He is, trusting His authority, surrendering our lives to Him, and choosing to follow Him in faith and obedience. “Lord” is presented here as a Scripture-inspired Christian song centered on one of the most important truths of the Christian faith: Jesus Christ is Lord, worthy of our worship, our trust, and our obedience. SCRIPTURE FOUNDATION Philippians 2:9–11 — God highly exalted Jesus Christ, and every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Luke 6:46 — Jesus asks why people call Him Lord but do not do what He says. Romans 10:9 — Scripture connects confessing Jesus as Lord with believing that God raised Him from the dead. John 14:15 — Jesus teaches that those who love Him will keep His commandments. Colossians 3:17 — Whatever we do, in word or deed, we are to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. THE MESSAGE Following Jesus Christ means more than acknowledging His existence or seeking His help during difficult times. He calls us to believe in Him, love Him, obey His Word, and depend upon Him daily. We cannot live the Christian life faithfully through our own strength. We need His grace, His truth, and the power of the Holy Spirit working within us. Whether you are beginning your walk with Christ, returning to Him after a difficult season, or seeking to grow deeper in faith, may this music direct your heart toward the One who is worthy of everything.
