Innotrans 2026. Alstom

● English / Engels / Anglais / Englisch / Inglés: For the first time, the PTBR_București page participated in InnoTrans 2026, the international trade fair for transport and mobility held from September 22 to 25 at Messe Berlin. The anniversary edition, marking 30 years of InnoTrans, concluded with record-breaking figures: 175,591 visitors, 3,190 exhibitors, and over 150 world premieres for mobility. In this post, we showcase some of the exhibits from Alstom, one of the participants in this edition. 1. Alstom Coradia ETR 108 – Trenitalia Intercity A total of 34 trainsets were ordered: 22 for Trenitalia Regionale services and 12 for Trenitalia Intercity services. The trains designated for Intercity services have a maximum commercial speed of 200 km/h and consist of 8 cars. Features include ERTMS/ETCS systems, 618 seats, an automatic access ramp for passengers with disabilities, 16 bicycle spaces, USB and 230V power outlets, Wi-Fi, and LCD screens. 2. Alstom Traxx Locomotives 🚆 Traxx Universal – Captrain: With a top speed of 160 km/h, these locomotives are designed for cross-border operations across several European countries, including France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Poland. They are part of a contract for over 30 locomotives destined for various Captrain entities across Europe. 🚆 Traxx Universal – Railpool: A newly built locomotive—authorized for use in France after more than a decade—marks a significant step forward for cross-border operations. It is part of a contract for 50 Traxx Universal locomotives signed between Railpool and Alstom. 3. Alstom S-Bahn Rheinland Mock-up The fleet will consist of 90 new trains, scheduled to enter service starting in 2029.
