WHO IS GOD? EVERY BELIEVER MUST UNDERSTAND THIS | APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

Who is God? Apostle Joshua Selman explores God’s attributes, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the biblical foundations every believer needs for knowing God. Your understanding of God shapes how you pray, worship, and live. This teaching encourages believers to move beyond familiar religious expressions and develop convictions grounded in Scripture. It examines who God is while also exploring humanity’s identity and purpose in relation to Him. Apostle Joshua Selman begins by reviewing God’s attributes: His eternal nature, self-existence, unchanging character, presence, knowledge, and power. The message also considers God as Spirit, light, holy, and love. These truths provide a foundation for understanding the One Christians worship and trust. The teaching then examines the triune nature of God through biblical passages concerning the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It continues into the doctrine of humanity, discussing creation, dependence, intelligence, moral responsibility, and the relationship between spirit, soul, and body. Throughout, the emphasis is on allowing Scripture to shape both belief and daily living. In this message, you will explore: The attributes that reveal God’s nature and character. Biblical passages concerning the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Why knowing God requires more than repeating church language. Humanity’s creation and dependence on God. The importance of choices, responsibility, and moral awareness. God’s purposes for human life, including relationship and dominion. As you listen, consider how clearly you understand the truths behind your worship. When you call God your Father, what does that mean to you? How does His unchanging character influence your confidence? How should your identity as His creation affect your decisions and relationships? This message also challenges the idea of complete self-sufficiency. It discusses dependence on God, the value of other people, and the responsibility to use your intelligence and make deliberate choices. Understanding who God is should therefore deepen humility, strengthen faith, and shape how you relate to others. Listen thoughtfully, take notes, and revisit the passages discussed. Let this teaching encourage careful Bible study and a more grounded walk with God.
