The morning of 23 September 2013 sees a busy little spell of traffic at the bleak and isolated West Highland Line station. Within the space of just over an hour:
10.21am - A track maintenance vehicle arrives from the south having made a jaunt down the line towards the Horseshoe Curve behind the morning train from Mallaig.
10.26am - GBRf 66737 "Lesia" heads the 6E45 0807 Fort William-North Blyth freight.
11.29am - A 4-car ScotRail 'Sprinter' arrives on the 0903 Glasgow Queen St-Mallaig. At the same time, 'K4' 2-6-0 No. 61994 "The Great Marquess" arrives on the "West Highlander" charter from Fort William-Crianlarich. She makes a very spirited departure, complete with a little bit of slipping!
