The Hold Music | A Creepy Sleep Story

Something strange is hiding beneath the hold music. Mara spends her days working from home, processing insurance claims and calling medical offices. Most calls are forgettable. Then she calls Bellweather Orthopedics. Beneath the familiar hold music, Mara begins hearing voices. At first, they sound like ordinary conversations accidentally captured by the phone system. But the conversations don't repeat. They continue. And eventually, Mara realizes she's not hearing them live. She's hearing them eight days late. Settle in with the sound of rain and enjoy The Hold Music, an original creepy sleep story from Rest Elsewhere.
