8 of 8: Requiem: An Artistic Remembrance of the Victims, The Survivors and the Aftermath of 9/11 U2 | Where the Streets Have No Name A Second Life Dance Video Choreography/Set Design: Chrissy Rhiano Dancers: Full Ensemble ARTIST'S MEMORY | KATJA LUMINOS September 11th, 2001, I was in Midtown Manhattan with my then husband. It was such an ordinary day, until it wasn't. It's hard to say when the normal loud noises of a city suddenly evolves into an emergency until it's happening around you. We were already out on the street looking for breakfast and not near a screen, so it took a while to understand the unthinkable had happened. The rest of the week was a blur until we were finally able to return home. As the daughter of a firefighter, we grew up with the vague idea that there was danger out there, but never the evil that shaped that day.
