Too Much Happened in One Day… | A Day That Changed How I See Life |Look good feel better

Some days stay with you long after they’re over. 🤍 Today was one of those days. I started my day by attending a Look Good, Feel Better workshop at my hospital ,a beautiful space for cancer patients and survivors to take a little time for themselves, feel beautiful, laugh, connect and remember that cancer does not define who we are. But as the day went on, so much happened that left me thinking about life in a completely different way. I found out that a girl I had spoken had passed away. And later that same day, I met a beautiful 15-year-old girl who is fighting the same cancer I once fought. One person’s journey had come to an end. Another person is still fighting. And somehow, I am here — still living, still healing, and still getting the chance to experience moments like these. It made me realise how precious life really is. We never know which conversation will be our last, whose life we might touch, or how much a single moment can mean. Today reminded me to be grateful for the life I have, to cherish the people around me, and to never take another day for granted. Some days don’t just happen.
