Recreating the Old Mace Formula then testing it on myself

Warning: Do not attempt anything shown in this video. Chloroacetophenone is a powerful irritant, and the reaction also produces dangerous chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas. In today's video, I'll be recreating the original Mace formula! The active ingredient was chloroacetophenone, also known as CN, which causes some seriously nasty burning in the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. I make and purify the CN, turn it into a dilute spray, and then test a very small amount on myself. Even at only 1%, this stuff was absolutely awful. Enjoy!
