Молитва перед сном — Богородица, защити мой дом этой ночью | Ночное песнопение Святой Горы Афон

Pray yourself to sleep with Byzantine chant from Mount Athos, as the Orthodox monks of the Holy Mountain lift their voices to the Mother of God and ask her to protect your home tonight. ☦️ Prayer on Mount Athos has continued day and night for more than a thousand years, and these chants carry that Athonite tradition into the quiet of your evening. Men's voices sing in Byzantine Greek in the ancient modes, with a solo cantor answered by the brotherhood and the low voices holding the ison beneath every phrase; there are no instruments and no beat, only the warm resonance of a stone church. You do not need to understand the Greek words for the prayer to reach you, because the slow, gentle lines speak to the heart on their own. The chants turn to the Theotokos, to the guardian angel and the saints, and to the Psalms of the night, asking for shelter over sleeping children, over every name you love, and over the door of your house. Let this Greek Orthodox chant accompany your evening prayer, the Jesus Prayer, or simply your rest, especially when your heart is anxious or weary at the end of the day. May the Byzantine chant of the Athonite monks be a quiet invitation to lay down your cares and sleep in peace under her protection. 🕯️ #MountAthos #ByzantineChant #OrthodoxChant #GreekOrthodox #OrthodoxMonks #Theotokos #SleepPrayer #SacredMusic #Prayer #Peace
