Halo: Campaign Evolved Failed Where Dead Space Remake Succeeded

Welcome back to The Silver Bullet. Halo: Campaign Evolved has finally been released, and in my opinion, it fails in almost every way at being a worthwhile remake. Dead Space Remake, however, did the exact opposite. In this video, I compare two modern remakes of beloved classics and break down why Halo: Campaign Evolved Failed Where Dead Space Remake Succeeded. Dead Space Remake asked: "How can we improve the original without losing its identity?" Halo: Campaign Evolved feels like it asked: "How can we make this feel like our version of Halo?" Two beloved games. Two completely different approaches to remaking a classic, and two very different results. ------------------------------ TIME STAMPS: ------------------------------ 0:00 - What Makes A Great Remake? 5:37 - Why Halo: Campaign Evolved Fails 14:04 - Halo's Bigger Problem 17:09 - Another Halo Rant 25:12 - Outro ------------------------------ Want to make your own custom Halo helmet like I did? https://www.etsy.com/shop/scifiBucket...
