Shelley Took the Stairs | Funny Country Roast Song | SongSpinnerZ

"Shelley Took the Stairs" is a funny, toe-tapping modern country roast song for the toughest tiny aunt in Kenosha. Bright acoustic strums, twangy Telecaster licks, rolling banjo, sassy fiddle fills and pedal steel swells, a two-step groove with handclaps, and a playful, sassy female lead vocal with a light twang. Big singalong choruses, group shouts of "Yee-haw, Shelley!", a half-time steel-guitar bridge and a key change into one huge final chorus. The story: Shelley is a tiny, full-Italian, animal-loving vegan who adores her family and has a famously colorful vocabulary for her tenants. One morning she was in a rush and headed up the stairs. Not down. Up. She caught her toe, gravity said "come with me," and she hit the tile floor and broke her arm. Now she's wearing a cast like a brand-new hat. And Tiger the dog? He didn't bark for help. He just looked at his bowl, then at the door: lunch, then his walk. Heal up, Aunt Shelley, you're tougher than that. Lyrics are on screen the whole way through, so you can sing along. Perfect for anyone who's ever fallen UP the stairs, anyone with a feisty little aunt, and anyone whose dog only cares about lunch. Clean lyrics.
