FINALLY visiting KUYA KURT in the Philippines!

I finally made it to the Philippines! 🇵🇭 After 20+ hours of travel from Utah through South Korea, I landed in Manila and met up with my brother, Kuya Kurt, to officially start this Philippines food adventure. Before even making it to my apartment, we hit the Pasay Night Market for my first real taste of Filipino street food in the Philippines — siomai, sisig, Spanish bread, chicken inasal, liempo, chicharon bulaklak and more. After months of cooking Filipino food back home and learning from all of you, it feels surreal to finally be here experiencing the food, people and culture firsthand. This is only the beginning — I’ve got Filipino cooking, incredible restaurants, local food, family, and plenty more coming from Manila.
