Dj 1229 on the Viaduct Spectacular - January 2026

On a day of wacky weather, that being the 24th of January 2026, Mainline Steam Heritage Trust ran their first solo trip with Dj 1229 since their reintegration last year. The train ran from Plimmerton to Taihape and return, once again a great success for Mainline Steam's return.
