The Prophet’s ﷺ Final Advice | Imam Abu Ilyas

What were some of the final pieces of advice given by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to his Ummah? In this powerful Friday Khutbah, we reflect on the mercy, wisdom, and guidance of the Prophet ﷺ and the lessons he left for Muslims to carry throughout their lives. From taking care of our prayers and fulfilling our zakat to giving charity, making dua for others, and maintaining good expectations of Allah, these reminders help us prepare for the day we return to Him. The khutbah also explores an important lesson from the life of the Prophet ﷺ: our homes should be places of peace, comfort, mercy, and joy. Despite the responsibilities and challenges he carried, the Prophet ﷺ made time for his family and created an environment where those around him could feel comfortable, smile, laugh, and be themselves. The Prophet ﷺ taught us to care not only about our own relationship with Allah, but also about the people around us. When we make dua for others, show kindness, give charity, and follow the Sunnah, we strengthen both our faith and our communities. May Allah help us follow the guidance of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, establish our prayers, give generously, make sincere dua for others, and meet Him with a heart that has good expectations of Him. Ameen.
