Are You Prepared for the Final Hour? | Friday Khutbah | Ustadh Amar Abdelwali

"Mankind's reckoning has drawn near, while they turn away in heedlessness." (Surah Al-Anbiya 21:1) A man once asked the Prophet ﷺ, "When is the Hour?" He replied with a question of his own: "What have you prepared for it?" In this Friday Khutbah, we reflect on the realities of the Day of Judgement: the scales, the bridge of As-Sirat, and standing before Allah. We then look at the disease that keeps so many of us from preparing: ghaflah (heedlessness). Unlike forgetfulness, ghaflah is a path we choose.
