🎥 A Summer Day in Kyoto | Toji, Tofukuji & Kiyomizu-dera | Japan Travel Vlog ☀️🌿⛩️ Summer in Kyoto has a different kind of beauty. In this video, we spend another summer day exploring some of Kyoto’s most iconic temples and streets. We begin at To-ji Temple, where we see its famous five-story pagoda in daylight for the first time after previously visiting during the autumn illumination. From there, we stop for a unique Kyoto white miso soft serve before continuing toward Tōfuku-ji. Along the way, we cross Gaun-kyo Bridge and take in the lush green valley before exploring Tsuten-kyo, Kaisando, and the peaceful Hojo Garden. Our journey then continues to Kiyomizu-dera, a place we have visited before but wanted to experience again in summer. Surrounded by deep green scenery, the famous wooden stage and views over Kyoto felt completely different from our previous visits. As evening approaches, we walk through the historic streets of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka toward Yasaka Pagoda before heading back to Kyoto Station.
