Storm Austen and Boelo Come To Dawlish

I awoke Friday morning to the sound of the wind from storm Austen as it rattled the trees in my garden. The worst had come overnight and the worst seas were at 0400 & second high tide at 0515 . I still managed to capture some of it at 0630 ,even with the tide receding . Saturday started with a very quiet walk around town and a few trains at the station ,taking in the autumn sights ,just before the rain from Boelo started. I returned to watch the Britannic Explorer pass with its very rich passengers and the back for the high tide in the evening and some very splashy waves . Even though these storms were not as bad as we usually get ,this is only the beginning of a long storm season and another one is just around the corner.
