At the first light of dawn, on a wide hilltop in an abandoned war camp, a colossal rough boulder rises against a golden sky, its edges rimmed with burning light and its face carved with nothing at all. From its foot, a long shadow stretches across the ground, over a small low wooden platform where a plain folding stool stands empty. On the platform's edge, a single fire burns in an iron basket, the only warm point in that vast darkness, while mist fills the valleys and broken fences stand silent in the distance. The one who sits here rules, but only beneath the stone, and the stone will not move. It is the shadow of the one who left, and it still falls on everything. ⚔️ A shadow can rule long after the one who cast it is gone. The stone does not move, and the dawn cannot reach beneath it.
