Film Photography Shooting Rollei Infrared 400 with a Mamiya 645 PRO

In this video I take my Mamiya 645 into the woods to shoot a roll of Rollei Infrared 400 and continue experimenting with infrared film photography. Shooting medium format infrared film is a slow process, particularly when long exposures, an infrared filter and a light meter are involved. I work through several woodland compositions, experimenting with exposure and seeing how Rollei Infrared 400 renders foliage, trees and pathways on the Mamiya 645. Things don't always go entirely to plan. I have problems with the Mamiya's power winder and cable release, attempt my first ever self-portrait on film, and after waiting nearly six weeks for the negatives to return, discover that I've massively overexposed several of the photographs. But some of those mistakes produced results I actually rather like. This isn't intended as a technical guide to shooting infrared film. It's simply part of my continuing return to film photography: experimenting, making mistakes and gradually learning how the Mamiya 645 and Rollei Infrared 400 behave.
