Samoyed Cafe moffu opened in Shinsaibashi, Osaka in October 2025 — the first Kansai branch of the Samoyed cafe that went viral in Harajuku, Tokyo. Ten Samoyeds, one hour, and you get to pet, feed and take photos with them. I tried the whole system: the "buddy dog" gacha, the treat box, the free photo session and the paid hug photo. Here's exactly what it costs and how it works. 📍 SAMOYED CAFE MOFFU SHINSAIBASHI Address: 2F Shinsaibashi Urban Court, 1-15-13 Nishi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka Access: 3 min walk from Yotsubashi or Shinsaibashi Station (Osaka Metro). About 10 min on foot from Dotonbori, right next to Amerikamura. Hours: Weekdays 11:00–20:00 / Weekends & holidays 10:00–20:00 (last entry 19:00) Closed: No regular closing days (except New Year holidays) Session: 1 hour including check-in and check-out Booking: Reserve online in advance — it's popular and walk-ins often can't get in. Rule: let the dog sniff your hand first, then pet. ・Your "buddy dog" is decided by gacha. The collar color tells you which one is yours, and staff will help you find them. ・The room is kept cool for the dogs (Samoyeds are a Siberian breed). A light jacket is handy even in summer. ・10 dogs live here, but they rotate — one is always on a break, so you'll see around 9 at a time.
