Start Slow, Finish Fast | The Swing Secret That Changes Everything

Discount code SmashitSports: SISAFSLUGGARSON In this video I talk about one of the most important details in a slowpitch softball swing: starting slow and building speed exponentially through the swing instead of trying to go hard from the very beginning. A lot of players think power comes from being fast too early, but that usually kills rhythm, timing, and clean barrel delivery. What I’ve noticed from top conference pro players is that the best swings build up smoothly and then explode at the end. Once I started applying this myself, it helped me a lot. In this video I break down: why the swing should not be linear what “exponential acceleration” means in simple terms how this affects timing, whip, and power why beginners can skip years of trial and error by understanding this early how to feel the right swing tempo and apply it in practice If you struggle with timing, power, or making solid contact consistently, this is a detail you need to understand. Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever thought about swing tempo this way. #slowpitchsoftball #softballhittingtips #softballswing #hittingtips #sluggarsonsoftball ⬇️ Gear I use in tournaments (affiliate links): 🥎 Bats: https://anarchybats.com/collections/a... ⚾ Balls: https://smashitsports.com/qv5yqd 👟 Shoes: https://smashitsports.com/l5ylkd | https://smashitsports.com/ougt8f 🧤 Fielding Glove: https://smashitsports.com/pyk9ub | https://gemgloves.com/wkxbd1 🧤 Batting Gloves: https://gemgloves.com/zupqln | https://smashitsports.com/58g8kr 🎯 G Tee Classic Batting Tee: https://smashitsports.com/c9hshe 🧢 Smash It Sports (store): https://smashitsports.com/sluggarsons... 🧤 Germ Gloves (store): https://gemgloves.com?bg_ref=9DCeXTwZVD #SlowpitchSoftball #SoftballHittingTips #SoftballSwing #SoftballPower #SwingMechanics #BatSpeed #SlowpitchHitting #SoftballTraining #HittingMechanics #SluggarsonSoftball
