Great Falls National Park Virginia - Waterfall Hike & Difficult Run Trail

I took the Difficult Run Trail to the River Trail in Great Falls National Park in McLean Virginia. The River Trail has lots of overlooks looking into Mather Gorge to see the falls and the Potomac River. The River Trail loop is 4.5 miles and the Difficult Run portion is 5 miles. But with extra view points you go to, it increased your mileage.
