Thank You, Sony

Thank you, Sony. Seriously. Marvel's Wolverine reviews are finally here, and the reception is NOT what PlayStation needed. Multiple major outlets have given Wolverine a 6/10, and the overall critical reception is sitting well below Insomniac's Spider-Man games. And honestly? WE NEEDED THIS. Not because I wanted Wolverine to be a bad game. Not because I want PlayStation games to fail. We needed this because the fight to SAVE PHYSICAL GAMES needs consumers to start pushing back against Sony's decisions instead of blindly rewarding them. Sony's goodwill with gamers is already at a very low point. We've seen the push toward digital, the physical-disc controversy, the pricing, and the increasingly questionable decisions surrounding PlayStation. Wolverine was supposed to be another massive PlayStation blockbuster. Instead, we're getting a game that critics are already comparing unfavorably to Insomniac's own Spider-Man games. And now we have to ask: what happens when gamers finally stop accepting everything Sony does? Because Wolverine isn't the end of this fight. Next up: GTA 6.
