Glass Painting a Christmas Bottle Project.

A great way to up-cycle an old spirit bottle is to glass paint it, put lights inside and turn it into an indoor or outdoor Christmas Decoration. We used Pebeo Vitrea 160 oven bake paints and outliner in this project. This was so the finished item could go outside. If you are keeping it inside then you can use non-bakable paints. Obviously you don't have to do a Christmas design, you could tailor it to any special event; Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc. Full written instruction, materials list etc are available on our website. N.B. This type of glass painting is easier on flat surfaces, hence the shape of the bottle. However it can also be done on curved surfaces.
