We were actually uploading this video from our visit to Dollywood when we heard the heartbreaking news that Dolly Parton had passed away. Dolly was so much more than the name behind Dollywood. Her love for the Smoky Mountains, her faith, generosity, kindness, music, and the way she always remained proud of where she came from have touched generations of people. As Floridians who have fallen in love with these mountains, we have such an appreciation for what Dolly created here. Dollywood isn't simply a theme park, you can feel her story, her Tennessee roots, and her love for this community throughout it. So today, we're sharing the video just as we originally intended: enjoying a beautiful day at Dollywood and taking you along with us. But we're sharing it with a little heavier heart and an even greater appreciation for the incredible woman who made this special place possible.
