Transforming Power of the Word and the Spirit (Ephesians 1:15-19)

This week, Pastor Josh Smith explores Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1:15–19, drawing a parallel to the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. Just as she came for a simple drink of water but left with a well of living water springing up inside her, believers are reminded that salvation is only the beginning. Paul intercedes for the church, asking the Holy Spirit to open the eyes of our hearts so we may go beyond knowing about God to truly experiencing Him. Rather than settling for a small sip of faith that costs us nothing, we are invited to go so much deeper—living with the hope found only in Christ, embracing our identity as God’s treasured inheritance, and walking daily in the immeasurable power of the resurrected Christ.
