August Garden Tour | A Walk Through My Zone 4 Garden 🌿🌸

Come along with me for a late-August walk through my Zone 4 garden. 🌿 In this August Garden Tour, I’m taking you around the garden to see what’s blooming, what’s changing, and how the different beds and containers are looking as we move toward the end of summer. We’ll visit the garden beds, containers, herbs, and some of the plants that are giving us another beautiful round of blooms. I’ll show you the mint, blooming bee balm, and the different stages of the flowers—including some of the newer blooms that appeared after we harvested earlier flowers and the plants responded with a second flush. We’ll also check in on the lavender, which is blooming again, along with many of the other plants, combinations, and little moments happening throughout the garden right now. One of the things I love about these monthly garden tours is being able to document how much the garden changes from one month to the next. August has its own character: some plants are at their peak, others are beginning to shift, and a few are surprising us with fresh growth and another round of flowers. And also the things that didn't go as expected because that is also part of the journey.
