In this video, we take a detailed look at the Vizag Railway Station Redevelopment 2026, including the planned expansion to 14 platforms, railway line capacity, new passenger facilities and the latest ₹299 crore Visakhapatnam Coaching Yard Remodelling Project. According to Indian Railways, the ₹299 crore coaching-yard project includes 6 additional platforms, 6 additional railway lines, widening of six existing platforms, Electronic Interlocking, a new eastern-side entrance, parking and improved circulating facilities. The station currently handles nearly 80,000 passengers daily and around 113 trains per day, according to the Railway Ministry.
