Where trying to type a simple sentence required mashing the number 7 four times. We talk about this like it was a golden era. Completely glossing over the fact that our computers sounded like a dying robot wheezing in the corner every time we wanted to load a web page. 🤖💥 We miss when the internet felt like a secret clubhouse too.. And not like we are about to get Skynet. It had rough edges, and it required actual physical effort. Like finally getting your name to scroll across a homemade webpage.. You were definitely calling someone into the room to witness it. LOOK. IT MOVES. 👩🏻‍💻✨ Then there was the download you nearly cancelled three times. It finally finished. You pressed play… and immediately forgave the computer for everything. Three hours waiting for one song.
