Marian Petrescu always delivers

While his other recordings often highlight a style reminiscent of Oscar Peterson, Marian Petrescu’s performance of 'AM Call' by Andreas Öberg (guitar) reveals a completely different side of him—one that feels unique and distinct in every way. I'm amazed at how Marian extracts so many melodic and rhythmic ideas from a chord progression that at first glance doesn't seem so complex. On the bass we have Harish Raghavan and on drums Vic Stevens. I encourage you to listen to the full recording (link below) of 'AM Call' by Öberg, Marian's comping is at par with his solo improvisation. The notes that you see in parenthesis ”( )” are either notes I'm not sure were played or some personal additions.
