Lin Butler: From Rock Roots to Country Songwriting | The Distillery Podcast #06

Country artist and songwriter Lin Butler joins The Distillery for Podcast #06 to share the journey behind a lifetime in music. Lin takes us back to his early days playing in a rock band, cutting his first record at just 16, and later moving into country music while performing across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. After years of playing in different country bands and eventually going solo, Lin found himself increasingly drawn to songwriting, studio work, and creating demos. In this conversation, we get to know the artist behind the songs, the experiences that shaped his music, and how his approach to songwriting has evolved over the years. Welcome to The Distillery, where we boil the songs down to the stories that made them. 🥃 THE DISTILLERY Country music isn’t just played. It’s poured.
